My name is Bri. I am 26 years old. And I should lose some weight. As this is a thing best achieved with the support of like-minded people I decided to start this blog. Here I will write about my weight loss progress, healthy recipes and exercises as well as things that keep me from losing weight.

Here are some facts about me:

I recently finished university with a degree in water sciences and flood risk management. I am in between jobs right now, mostly applying to PhD schools. I’d love to pursue a career in science. Until then I will keep myself busy reaching for a healthy body and a healthy mind.

I am a coffee addict. And although I pledge to lead a healthier life I cannot do without my daily dose of caffeine. Even worse then that I drink my coffee with fatty (3.5%) milk and  additionally sweetened condensed milk. Well, it’s a treat then and the taste is just heavenly. I won’t give it up.

I’m a cat person. Since I rescued my kitty from the shelter home feels more like home, all cozy with the cat sleeping on the sofa.

I love to cook, read, travel, crochet, doing Pilates (this is new!) and write this blog, sharing health tips and doing research in this field.

I don’t like getting up early (I’m a night-owl, I get things best done at night). Can’t think of anything else right now.
